How can you do a doobie wrap on dry hair.?

I just got my hair streaked with a semi permanant. So I got a wrap and I really wanted a doobie wrap but I had to pay extra. So how can I do a doobie wrap on dry hair so I won't take my hair color out? Or do it with wetting the center with a spray bottle?

How can you do a doobie wrap on dry hair.?

Doobie Wrap

You can't doobie wrap dry hair. You will have to wet it first. i usually do it after I shampoo %26amp; condition my hair

Roller set your hair. (wet set) plastic rollers with the vented barrel is needed.

Dry under a hooded dryer or you can use a blow dryer but it takes longer.

Take out rollers.

Then comb or brush your hair in a wrap. Smoothing your hair as your go around.

Leave wrapped hair in for a 3 to 4 hours

Then unwrap it.

Loose curls.

How can you do a doobie wrap on dry hair.?

yeaaa.

How can you do a doobie wrap on dry hair.?

To do the roller wrap set, also know as the doobie, you will need to roller set your hair, dry it under a hooded dryer, take the rollers out, then comb/brush your hair around in a wrap). Leave it wrapped for a while and when you comb it down, you will have big loose wavy curls with lots of body.

How can you do a doobie wrap on dry hair.?

Well my fiance` is black so let me tell you what she does. She parts her hair like she going to put it in four ponytails two in front and two in back. Then she takes then she takes the front two and brush the forward and takes the back two and brush them backwards thus leaving a horizontal part from ear to ear. Then she takes the back and brushes the whole thing to the left until it reaches the front then she take the whole front and brushes it to til it reaches the back and continues brushing around in a circle til' is completely "wrapped" I believe the term is. NO WATER but she does use oil sheen or Extra Virgin Olive Oil that she has put in a spray bottle.

How to get shiny hair?? Whats the best shampoo even if expensive for dry curly hair?????

Help I have curly dry hair that I dye blonde ... Ive tried alot of products from bed head, sebastians laminates, matrix sleek, matrix biolage, dove, frizz ease....I need some help and relief Even if you any good hair serums will help????

How to get shiny hair?? Whats the best shampoo even if expensive for dry curly hair?????

use a good conditioner from loreal

How to get shiny hair?? Whats the best shampoo even if expensive for dry curly hair?????

I use Pantene Smooth and Sleek. It smooth down the cuticle and makes my hair really smooth and shiny. Also, another tip is that if you rinse your hair in cold water after you wash it, it will make it shinier.

Since you color your hair and you said that it's dry, you should use a deep conditioner at least once a week. One that is really good is 3 Minute Miracle by Aussie.

How to get shiny hair?? Whats the best shampoo even if expensive for dry curly hair?????

Kenra has a great shine product. It's pricey but it's worth it. It is a serum.

How to get shiny hair?? Whats the best shampoo even if expensive for dry curly hair?????

Nexxus brand shampoo and conditioner!!!! My stylist put me on it because my hair was so unruly and it really helps! The shampoo is called Therappe, and the conditioner is called Humectress!

How to get shiny hair?? Whats the best shampoo even if expensive for dry curly hair?????

It really depends on your hair but as a fellow curly haired person, what I do every now and then is just put a few drops of esential oil into a ton of olive oil and rub the whole thing into my hair then put a towel over my pillow and sleep with it in. The next morning I just make sure I've gotten it all out when I shampoo and put in some Pantene spray on conditioner/detangler. If I really need a deep conditioner I mix an avocado with olive oil and mayonase and use it as a hair mask. All I have to do is wet my hair, put the avocado gunk in it, put on a shower cap, leave it to sit for 15 minutes, and rinse it out. This takes a bit more time to rinse so I sugest it for weekends only. I hope this works on your hair, good luck!

How to get shiny hair?? Whats the best shampoo even if expensive for dry curly hair?????

i have coarse curly hair and i use biosilk and use a small amout and disribute evenly troughout the hair. its an expensive product but will last a long time. it works really well if you straighten your hair with a flat iron. (the t3 flat iron is the best)

How to get shiny hair?? Whats the best shampoo even if expensive for dry curly hair?????

The best shampoo for curly hair, (and conditioner and gel for that matter) is from a company called DevaConcepts, and the line is Deva Curl.

The shampoo is designed for on-scalp use only after you have put the conditioner on your midshaft and ends. You rinse everything, and you're done. The theory behind only conditioning your ends is that curly hair is naturally dryer than other hair types. By washing the ends to much it only makes it worse, so by just rinsing it, you are helping to maintain the hair's natural moisturizing properties.

Whats the best shampoo and conditioner for dry hair??

Growing up, my hair was so damaged that it would not even lather in the shower. I went to a solon and they suggested that I use Biologe. It completely turned my hair around. You can only buy the real thing in the salons so dont be fooled if you see some in the stores. Its about $20.00 for the set and they have styling products also. It smells fantastic and clean. It is the best I have ever used!

Whats the best shampoo and conditioner for dry hair??

If price is not a concern, then you should look at salon products, as they are usually of a better quality. Matrix works well, but there are several salon brands out there.

If you're looking for something cheaper and easy to find in any store, Pantene works pretty well for me. I use the 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner as my shampoo (red words on a white bottle,) and then the mosturizing conditioner (for curly hair) on top of that, after I shampoo. I find that there's a -drastic- difference in my hair when using this compared to any other cheap brands. It's the only grocery store quality product that I really like and that doesn't totally destroy my hair.

It can also be helpful if you can try not to wash your hair every day, because that saps the moisture out of it. If you can get by with it, try to wash it only a few times a week. And try to avoid blowdrying and brushing too much.

Here's a page that lists several salon quality hair care products. http://www.hairexpo.biz/

My hair is thin and frizzy and curly... I blow dry my hair once a week do u suggest i should do the

But the problem is I dont like straight hair, I blow dry my hair straight from the top and make curls on the bottom... so do u suggest I should only rebond the top part of my hair and leave the bottom curly as it is? please help I am in a delima and dont know what to do...

My hair is thin and frizzy and curly... I blow dry my hair once a week do u suggest i should do the rebonding

I love natural hair. Some times I want a straight look. I am using bodiphier.www.freshlookhair is the website. It閳ユ獨 a natural relaxer that閳ユ獨 made out on vitamins, minerals, water, and etc.. I love it because it doesn閳ユ獩 burn, and no chemicals is added. It閳ユ獨 self neutralize. I can scratch my hair the same day and not worry about burns. It閳ユ獨 super soft. It doesn閳ユ獩 break the bonds in your hair. It causes your hair to straighten by 85% which allows you to keep your natural hair texture. You can wear your natural hair because bodiphier loosens the bonds in your hair instead of breaking them like traditional perms and relaxers. Say goodbye to split ends because my hair is healthy. If I want to wear a straight look, just blow dry and press your hair. It閳ユ獨 very silky when you go for the straight look. It will not frizz up in humidity. I am taking hair vitamins, natural relaxers, and natural products like jojoba oil. I plan to try products like carols daughter for my hair www.carolsdaughter.com

My hair is thin and frizzy and curly... I blow dry my hair once a week do u suggest i should do the rebonding

What do you mean by rebond and what is your ethnicity? If I know that I may be able to better assist you. Kinda getting sleepy now, if I don't get back to you tonight, I will soon. I have curly hair and I have picked mad skills about hair from modeling %26amp; acting! Don't you worry!

My hair is thin and frizzy and curly... I blow dry my hair once a week do u suggest i should do the rebonding

put water on hair so it is tottally wet then use hair spray every morning

My hair is thin and frizzy and curly... I blow dry my hair once a week do u suggest i should do the rebonding

Okay, your hair is thin, frizzy, and curly. I suggest you use garnier-fructis shampoo. You can get it at drugstores like Cvs, Rite-aid, and Walgreens. Basically almost anywhere. My friend used to have the same hair problem so she switched to this. She had ALOT of frizz action going on with her hair girl lol. Garnier-fructis is made specifically for hair that is frizzy and needs some help to be anti-frizzy. You can still use it if you dont like straight hair because your hair will still be curly. Go to the website and get a free sample delivered to you, that way you can try it out before you actually spend money on it. I dont remember the website but try www.garnier-fructis.com. Hoped i helped you some girl!

Do you know any home remedies for dry damaged hair?

Shampoo and conditon with Neutrogena Triple Moisture.

Stop straightening your hair everyday and do it twice a week only

Do you know any home remedies for dry damaged hair?

Wendy's mayonnaise...no seriously try it, it has worked wonders for me...

Do you know any home remedies for dry damaged hair?

Do you know any home remedies for dry damaged hair?

2 egg whites with little olive oil and massage it into your scalp, then wash and rinse well. bed head products have a shampoo and conditioner for frizzy hair. usually using a lots of conditioning helps your hair the best.

Do you know any home remedies for dry damaged hair?

get regular trims and deep condition it once or twice a week. you can buy deep conditioners or you can make them your self. Start using products in your hair that put a heat shield around your hair and you should either use nexxus humectress shampoo and condish. or therma silk shampoo and condish. home remedies are mayonnaise hair masks and olive oil treatments. then use a wide tooth come in your hair and try to avoid brushing it when it's wet as it is more likely to get damaged.

Do you know any home remedies for dry damaged hair?

You also need to eat healthy-hair foods so that your hair starts off as healthy as it can be. And you should make sure that your straightener is professional quality. A professional quality straightener produces more heat. More heat straightens your hair more quickly. Straightening your hair more quickly does less damage to the shaft.

I like to alternate Infusium 23 with Pantene. Stick Straight is also a good product if you're willing to spend a litte more, you can only get it in salons.

Do you know any home remedies for dry damaged hair?

Believe it or not, one of the best is just old fashioned

Mayonaise. Slather it on...wait an hour. Use regular

shampoo and condition. Fabulous.

Do you know any home remedies for dry damaged hair?

Avocado Hair Treatment:

Mash 1 Ripe avocado in a bowl, then work it through your shampooed, wet hair. Leave it on for about 30 minutes. You can use a plastic bag (like grocery bag) to cover it to keep it from drying out and it adds some heat. Then rinse it out (a lot).

Here's a protein shampoo you can try:

I know it sounds yucky, but it's good for our hair!

Take a fresh egg and beat it in a bowl-like you're going to scramble it for cooking (but don't put anything else in it). Wet your hair, and rub half of the egg mixture in it, then rinse out, and repeat.

Want to make your hair really shiny? Use a couple tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a pitcher of water and use it as a final rinse.

Do you know any home remedies for dry damaged hair?

Massage olive oil, once month, well into the hair, Cover your head with a hot towel, and leave for several hours. Then shampoo as normal

A handful hibiscus leaves grounded to a paste with a teaspoon of shikakai is wonderful shampoo and conditioner

Good remedy for dry hair!?

its so annoying........i thought about mayonaise but i really dont get it...........so is there another remedy...nothin too fancy just easy and simple

Good remedy for dry hair!?

Before you get in the shower, pop a towell in the dryer. In the shower, leave your conditioner in, comb your hair, and go get the towell from the dryer. Wrap your hair in the towell, the heat will hold in the moisture, and leave it for about 15 minutes. Then get back in the shower and rinse it out. You will love the results! And make sure to get a good quality conditioner..you get what you pay for :)

Good remedy for dry hair!?

Oil your hair and shamppo it off after one or two hours

Good remedy for dry hair!?

why dont you try bathing as often and try the best conditioner you could find...?or maybe you could stop using hair products that may be the cause of your damaged hair...

Good remedy for dry hair!?

Go to Sallys and buy the generic version of K-Pac-put it on, cover it with some kind of wrap (plastic wrap works) and leave it on for at least 1 hour, then rinse. I use it all the time and it's not really expensive.

Good remedy for dry hair!?

There IS hair mayonnaise, which is made specifically for hair, not sandwiches. Conditioners made for African American hair, not washing out your conditioner when you wash your hair, NOT WASHING YOUR HAIR EVERYDAY, not using heat styling, olive oil, coconut oil....

Good remedy for dry hair!?

yes i have the same problem and have a lot of experience and leave a little bit of conditioner after a shower to protect and make it look silky but if u have thin hair or not much dont do this because you could lose hair, but u can also but hot oil capsules or even research and make your own! they work pretty well. also u can buy almond oil or just research what are the good oils and u can buy them in a supermarket instead of paying for brand names

alsoooo dont wash your hair everyday !! seriously it is the most important thing... every two days at least and u can add only conditioner everyday tho

hope it helps

Good remedy for dry hair!?

The best I have found is Paul Mitchell's "The conditioner" or the generic brand of the same thing. Works for me.

Good remedy for dry hair!?

break a vitamin E pill and add it to ur shampoo and conditioner. vitamin E helps hair repair it'self and akes it shiny and luscious,

Good remedy for dry hair!?

Bumble and Bumble makes a great hair mask specifically for dehydration. Ojon oil along with the shampoo and conditioner (and the B%26amp;B once or twice a month) keeps my hair silky. My hair is very thick, processed, and I straighten it constantly so if a conditioner works for me its means it is really really good!!

Good remedy for dry hair!?

i have the same problem...

-get a good conditioner (i like pro-v ice shine conditioner)

-use a shampoo that doesn't strip your hair of natural oils (i like mane n tail)

-use a little leave in conditioner when your hair is dry (i use garnier fructise length and strengh)

-instead of washing your hair, you can get away with washing it every other day and in between, jsut rinse your hair with water.

Good luck!

Good remedy for dry hair!?

I would say to prevent it from getting more dry, stay away from hair spray and too many styling products number 1. If you lighten your hair, that really does a number on it too. I would say to get it moist again use a panteen proV conditioner, and then even spray a bit of leave in conditioner into your hair once in a while too. If your hair does not get too greesy, avoid washing it every day too. Don't use real Mayonaise. That is gross, there are eggs in it, and on Tyra the experts said it does not do any more than a good conditioner. Hair products are maid for your hair...not to taste good on a sandwich.

Hi do i apply Matrix colorsync to wet or dry hair?

i have had my hair dyed with this product before and i love it,so conditioning, but could someone preferably an experienced hairdresser tell me how to apply as i can't remember how the hairdesser done it,do i wash my hair first or just apply to dry hair, also my hair is dark brown and i bought colorsync 4RV medium brown red violet so what colour will it turn out? thank u

Hi do i apply Matrix colorsync to wet or dry hair?

Since it is a demi-permanent line I would apply it to dry hair to obtain optimal results! As the color oxidizes on dry hair you can see places you have saturated and those that you have not! Here is the link to the matrix line! I dont know what level your hair is naturally so I cannot say what the color will turn out looking like! If your hair is darker than a level 4 then you wont receive much of result maybe just a hint of red violet hue! I also dont know if your hair pulls warm, etc! Ive colored my hair 4rv (not the colorsync I use Goldwell colorance when I use a semi-permanent) before it is a pretty color! Im curious how you got ahold of this colorline since you are not a licensed stylist... Sounds like a case of diversion to me!

How do u get rid of frizzy/dry hair?

my hair is always breaking and i don't know what to do besides shampooing it. And if i don't put gel in my hair.. it will get really dry/frizzy!!

How do u get rid of frizzy/dry hair?

Get a good leave in conditioner like Aussies leave in conditioner or Pantene has a great one too.

How do u get rid of frizzy/dry hair?

The best thing would be to go to a salon or a beauty store at the mall and talk to someone who can look at your hair. Shampoos from Wal-Mart and such aren't going to be good enough to *really* help your hair.

How do u get rid of frizzy/dry hair?

My Hair Is Frizzy when I get out of the shower and it looks curly but It goes away ONLY if I straighten My Hair, I have a really good hair straightener that's professional quality, I would suggest getting a hair straightening iron and when your hair dries after you wash it, Straighten your hair using a comb too and finish with some straightening product/creme..

How do u get rid of frizzy/dry hair?

Try deep conditioning it once a week.

How do u get rid of frizzy/dry hair?

The absolute best is a product called Silk Drops from FX Specila Effects. You cn get it at any Walgreens, CVS, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!

How do u get rid of frizzy/dry hair?

I have dry and frizzy hair, but I straighten my hair out with a good Chi hair straightener, as the other person suggested above also. It seems to help. Before I straighten my hair out, I put a really great hair product called "Aussie Leave-In Conditioner + Anti Freeze Cream". While my hair is still damp, I put that in it, then once it's dry I straighten my hair out. After I straighten my hair out, I put a little bit more of the product on the ends of my hair where it is the driest.

I hope this helps you out! There is hope for you hair....it just takes some experimenting. =) So, don't get frustrated! Your hair is probably beautiful. =)

What's the best treatment for very dry summer hair? Does V05 Hot Oil work?

My hair turns to straw in the summer. I only wash and condition every other day, or even every 2 days to let the natural oils kick in but my hair is still dry. I'm looking for an inexpensive treatment - does the V05 Hot Oil Treatment work?

What's the best treatment for very dry summer hair? Does V05 Hot Oil work?

While it is good that you are only washing your hair every 2 days, you should lightly condition it everyday. The best deep conditioner that I have found is Redken's Smooth Down Butter Treat. (about $14 for a large bottle) Don't use V05 Hot Oil treatment... it's a waste of your $2.89.

What's the best treatment for very dry summer hair? Does V05 Hot Oil work?

You can solve ALL you hair problems by using NAIR!

What's the best treatment for very dry summer hair? Does V05 Hot Oil work?

yeah it's pretty good, but can leave your hair kinda greasy, and makes mine go REALLY fluffy

What's the best treatment for very dry summer hair? Does V05 Hot Oil work?

yes it works quite well. i would try the vo5 hot oil a few times and then find a good conditioner.

What's the best treatment for very dry summer hair? Does V05 Hot Oil work?

I Know this is weird, But I have been using suave my whole life, and even though it is the cheap shampoo, nothing work's better on my hair that that.If you use Vo5 shampoo and it works great on your hair, It will most likely work, but if you use a more expensive, name brand shampoo, your hair will not be used to the new chemical's and will most likely dry out more.

What's the best treatment for very dry summer hair? Does V05 Hot Oil work?

Its ok but i think it makes hair too oily try using an intensive conditioning treatment on youur hair everytime you wash it leave it for 3 mintues and it should be fine in no time at all! X

What's the best treatment for very dry summer hair? Does V05 Hot Oil work?

Truly dry hair is caused by heat and the elements, so the first step is prevention: Try to avoid using overly hot dryers and heat-styling implements, and wear a hat or scarf if you're going to be exposed to sun or wind for a long time (at the beach or skiing, for instance). Don't wash your hair every day, but do shampoo often enough to remove dirt and buildup, about two or three times a week.

iVillage has tons of information for fighting dry hair. Check out http://beauty.ivillage.com/hair/volumesh... for great tips that'll have your locks shiny and gorgeous in no time!

Good luck!

What's the best treatment for very dry summer hair? Does V05 Hot Oil work?

It doesnt work I think it depends on your hair type though, I have dry hair and I find that washing it every 3 days helps keep the natural oils in my hair, ...but when I was younger I used to swim at the beach alot like every day, and as a treatment that was cheap for mum, I'd use olive oil after a good condition then it stays thru more washes...

try it, it might help

What's the best treatment for very dry summer hair? Does V05 Hot Oil work?

I've used it and it works fine.

What's the best treatment for very dry summer hair? Does V05 Hot Oil work?

I found that my dry hair really responded to a cream deep-conditioner. Instead of leaving it on 5 minutes though, I wrapped my head in a warm towel and left it in for about 20. Then rinse with cool water and let air dry. My ends get really dry especially so I've gotten in the habit of about once a week putting the deep conditioner on my ends dry and sleeping with my hair in a bandana. Then I just rinse and condition all my hair in the shower the next morning.

Do you have experience with a good moisturizer for dry hair?

I wash my hair every other day with Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner. The first day, my hair is too dry, the second day it's too oily at the roots, but the ends are still dry (and brittle and split-ended.) After I shampoo and condition again, the dry-oily cycle repeats. I have naturally straight hair, and I want it to be moisturized, smooth, sleek and not weighed down. How can I achieve this?

Do you have experience with a good moisturizer for dry hair?

You need to use a good shampoo. Pantene has tons of wax that initially coats your hair and then makes it oily. The best shampoo for soft shiny hair is Redkens All Soft shampoo and conditioner.

It may seem that professional shampoos are more expensive, however, they have less water(check out the Pantene bottle, I bet water is one of the top 3 ingredients!)

If you have long hair you should have a wide tooth comb in the shower so that you can comb the conditioner through. This will save you a bunch of money on conditioner, will make your hair feel great because the conditioner will completely coat your hair and it will take about half the time to comb out after.

Do you have experience with a good moisturizer for dry hair?

Try mashing up some avocado and then letting it sit in your hair for awhile. Avocado has really lovely natural oils...after you are done..rinse it out and shampoo as normal.

Do you have experience with a good moisturizer for dry hair?

Sunsilk, which used to be Thermasilk, makes a great leave in spray conditioner. You can use it on wet or dry hair. It leaves my hair soft, shiny and it even mends the split ends. It's very light and it smells really good! I like to spray it on after I towel dry my hair. I also use it on bad hair days. Just spritz it on, fluff and it looks like I just shampooed.

I hope you try it!

Do you have experience with a good moisturizer for dry hair?

Pantene works well for me, and I have dry, frizzy hair. It sounds like you need something serious. I have found that Fudge products work GREAT. I stopped using them because they are expensive. But I would swear by them! You would have to find a salon that carried Fudge. I would by the conditioner AND the spray leave-in conditioner. You could try mayonaise (wash with hot water, mayo head, wrap with plastic wrap, leave it there for a half hour, wash it out) but it's REALLY hard to shampoo out. It worked for me but I gave up doing it because it was hard to shampoo out.

Do you have experience with a good moisturizer for dry hair?

Once a week I use a clarifying shampoo (neutrogena has a nice one, but lots of brands out there make them - in a variety of price ranges). This gets rid of weird build-up and makes my normal routine happier the rest of the week.

Biolage has a really great Conditioning Balm: http://www.matrix.com/products/biolage/h... (their normalizing shampoo might be great for you as well). They cost a bit more than what you are currently using, but i know a very little goes a long way with this conditioner - it lasts me forever.

Any shampoo/conditioner combo will work better for you if you make sure that you a. rinse extremely well - and finish with a cool water rinse, and use a clarifying shampoo occasionaly (once a week). Also you may try to just apply the conditioner to the ends and not the roots every other day.

Good luck - I hope this helps.

What is the best way to blow-dry hair straight?

Whenever I try to blow-dry my hair, it becomes very poofy and I can't get it straight. What blow-drying technique works for you?

PS -- I don't want to use a straightener.

What is the best way to blow-dry hair straight?

Round Brush.. BIg one.. check sally's ( i think boars hair ) then hold the blow dryer close to ur hair.. it takes a while.. also try some type of setting lotion or somethin on ur hair ....but using a blow dryer is bad for ur hair and will give u split ends. I used to do this for years.... u have to press the heat close to ur hair and hold the round brush close to the dryer.. if u blow the fuse u might have to keep resetting it..sometimes I used to use two blow dryers.. cuz one would keep blowing out.. (overheating?)

What is the best way to blow-dry hair straight?

When I Blow dry my hair straight, I use a straightening serum... Not the ones that are lotiony... Then I take a regular brush and do one strand at a time. My Sister-in-law thought that i used a straightener the first time she saw me do it.

What is the best way to blow-dry hair straight?

just blow dry your hair normally, then just use a flat iron to get rid of the poofy-ness.

easy and simple.

What is the best way to blow-dry hair straight?

uh... i tried that. i think it only works if you have the slightest of wave. THEN you can make ur hair straight 8-l

What is the best way to blow-dry hair straight?

Do you mean you don't want to use a chemical straightener? There are some out there--Rusk's Radical Anti Curl--that are very gentle and work well with even Caucasian hair.

Otherwise, I would recommend a styling straightener like KMS's Flat Out Straightening Creme. You use it on your clean wet hair. Apply small amounts all over then comb thru to distribute. Blow dry your hair to remove excess moisture but not till completely dry--try holding the blow dryer at the roots and work your way down toward the ends to prevent frizzing.

Finally, take a small section at a time (even try pinning the rest out of the way) and using a giant round brush--4 or 5 inches in diameter at least, and wind it all the way to roots snugly. Then heat it with the blow dryer. Continue until all of the hair is bone dry.

You can finish with an anti humidity spray. KMS makes one, too. If this sounds too difficult, try asking your stylist to show you how step by step. Have them do one half of your hair and you do the other while they watch/coach you. If he or she won't or can't---find a new stylist!

Good luck!

PS: All of the above products are available at salons.

What is the best way to blow-dry hair straight?

Ok well i suggest that you go to walgreens, and get this brush that claps together and it is a bristle brush on both sides and all you have to do is get hair between it, blow dry how pretty close to it, and pull down. It works wonders!

Good conditioner for really curly, frizzy and dry hair?

My hair is very hard to manage and mainatain healthy because it is really curly, thick, long and dry. Does anyone know of a conditioner that works well on this type of hair and does not contain alchohal? If so what type is it? Please nothing too expensive and that is avalible at Target.

Good conditioner for really curly, frizzy and dry hair?

Garnier Fructis

Good conditioner for really curly, frizzy and dry hair?

Good conditioner for really curly, frizzy and dry hair?

Good conditioner for really curly, frizzy and dry hair?

Good conditioner for really curly, frizzy and dry hair?

OK the conditioner you use will need to be for course hair, there is this deep conditioner called cholesterol found in the African American hair products. I love it! I have very dry hair and it can get really frizzy when it wants to. I apply the conditioner and let it sit for 30 minutes twice a week. For day to day management I use a leave in conditioner on my wet hair along with an anti frizz serum and use curl cream, not gel it dries out your hair. Always use a diffuser with your hair dryer to avoid damage and shape your curls no blow them out and frizz them. All the products I use I buy at Target or drug stores and it puts me out of pocket about 20 bucks a month.

Good conditioner for really curly, frizzy and dry hair?

-Read the book and visit the sites below about curly hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your curly hair- be happy for life!

- To style your hair using the curly-girl method you will need gel and conditioner at the minimum. Some less useful, but still nice stuff would be a blowdryer, a diffuser, butterfly clips, and a microfiber hair turban.

-The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent. They dry out curly hair.

- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. Then rinse and spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse. It is also important to use gel on sopping wet hair and scrunch the hair. Then let your hair air dry or use a blowdryer with a diffuser.

- Devacurl products are the expensive products that are amazing for curly hair. However, I really like the garnier fructis products (found at Target) and there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the websites. Frizz-ease hair serum is amazing for fighting frizz.

- This takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working. This is hard to do if you don't read the book, or at least the websites. Hope this helps!

Good conditioner for really curly, frizzy and dry hair?

Garnier Fructis Curl and Shine and or the Pantene one for curls. Also Aveda Brilliant Damage Control, Bumble and bumble leave in conditioner with frizz control, or Aussie Hair Insurance but these three are more expensive.

How would i be able to manage my wavy and dry hair? How do i get a healthy hair?

i have a sort of thick and wavy hair. when i went to highschool, i started having dry hair? after sometime, hair was full of split-ends? i regularly go to the parlor but i still get the same result--unhealthy hair.

How would i be able to manage my wavy and dry hair? How do i get a healthy hair?

i have long thick wavy hair. one thing i never did was dye my hair, but remember to trim!!! also use "biosilk" at night in ur hair it wil make ur hair smoooth. try not to use so much heat and use comb not brush. brushing breaks hair.

How would i be able to manage my wavy and dry hair? How do i get a healthy hair?

Egg whites, oil massages can improve your hair. From http://myhair.info

How would i be able to manage my wavy and dry hair? How do i get a healthy hair?

i used to have hair like that to every time you have a wash use conditioner and get regular cuts in the salon,if you like buy yourself some ghd`s and your all set,if you want more advice try asking the people at the salon

How would i be able to manage my wavy and dry hair? How do i get a healthy hair?

I have wave in my hair, and I have found that if I let my hair dry naturally as much as possible, it tends to feel better. Also, I turn the water temperature to as cold as i can stand before i exit the shower and rinse my hair. This helps to close the hair's cuticle and helps to prevent frizz. You might also try some leave in conditioner. My first suggestion would be to reduce your blow dryer use. I hope this helps :-)

What is the best conditioner and shampoo for dry damaged hair?

They dont have to be the same brand...cause thats kind of boring and lame...i think...but what is the best for dry and damaged hair? I wash my hair and lots of it falls out...and then when i brush it afterwards when its dry, it breaks at various lengths...help!

What is the best conditioner and shampoo for dry damaged hair?

Hey Ana! My hair gets pretty dry and I have weird partly wavy hair, so I switch from month to month from Infusium 23 for extreme moisture, then to Pantene Pro-V Daily moisture. The Infusium cleans you hair from bad products and toxins and the Pantene gives it a boost again. I'm too cheap for the salon stuff, but all of the other on the shelf stuff drys my hair out more.

Hope that helps!

I love it! But i have also tried ion intensive therapy treatment which you can find at ur local Sally Beauty Supply, or any other deep conditioners they may have..check the link holmes. Is putting mayonnaise in your hair good for dry, coarse hair?

I heard from a couple people that putting plain mayo in your hair and putting it in a hair cap for a while then washing it afterwards makes your hair more shiny %26amp; soft. is this true? %26amp;%26amp; do you have any other ideas that could help make my dry, coarse hair more soft and shiny?

Is putting mayonnaise in your hair good for dry, coarse hair?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

yogurt however, makes my dry, brittle hair really smooth %26amp; soft... it also works great as conditioner... i use the mixture of yogurt %26amp; honey

Is putting mayonnaise in your hair good for dry, coarse hair?

My friends and I always use mayo in our hair and afterwards it looks soft, shiney, and amazing! Just put it in your hair, wrap some plastic-wrap around it, wait 30 minutes, wash it out, and your done. Hope this helps!

Is putting mayonnaise in your hair good for dry, coarse hair?

well i have the same problem and i used herbal Essenes dry and damaged conditioner.i left it on for a good hour...and it made my hair really soft...but i went in a chemist today and saw something called hair tonic Vaseline ?! so anyway it was 鎷?.99.so i thought i would try it.and i do have really thick frizzy hair !!....so i washed my hair put a couple of drops of the hair tonic on my hair and brushed it through left it to dry and its perfect!! its the best thing Ive ever brought for my hair to tame the frizz...and its really soft and shiny...it does what it says on the bottle! also a friend of mine at school used to use raw egg ! bit messy but her hair was really shiny

Is putting mayonnaise in your hair good for dry, coarse hair?

Well people get different results. I suggest you do not try it, unless you are very sure you want to try,

I think you should just use different shampoo and use conditioner. Like Pantene Pro-V

Is putting mayonnaise in your hair good for dry, coarse hair?

i really dont recomend you using mayo all it does is make your hair alot more oily, i think its really nasty and mayo really stinks for me but to make your hair shinyer all you have to do is put some beer ya beer . beer makes peoples hair soft and extreamly shinny try it i hope it works for you i know because my stylist told me about it.

What's a good hair product line for wavy but greasy/dry hair?

My hair is actually pretty, it's just weird. It's straight at the roots with waves throughout. It has a tendency for greasiness, esp. now that I'm growing it out, yet it also feels dry at times. I like wearing it down and long and dark but I just wish I could find products that clean it but don't weight it down (mousse, gel, shampoo, conditioner, etc. )?

What's a good hair product line for wavy but greasy/dry hair?

Herbel essence mousse!! does WONDERS for my hair!! mine too is wavy..yet straight...yet not...just depends. but Herbel essence totally twisted gets it wavy and curly when i need it with NO EXTRA WEIGHT!...so it doesnt get all greasy and nasty and herbel essence straight mousse makes it as straight as a board with NO EXTRA GREASY weight!!! their mousse line works wonders!!

goodluck!

oh and when it starts to feel greasy..put baby powder on ur roots and work it through ur hair...i kno it sounds stupid but it DEF WORKS!! me and my frends do this allllll the time before going out!!!

Hv short, thick, dry curly hair.... need a new hair style..?

male here, need help. bored with current hair style. hv tried alot method 2 make it straight or grow the hair but it fails.. n very dry n frizz..

Hv short, thick, dry curly hair.... need a new hair style..?

Your hair is suffering from water deficiency which is a very common thing among people with thick curly hair. To beging solving this problem you want to avoid product build up by using products that contain natural ingredients.

Also avoid hot oil treatments, heavy cholesterol type conditioners, petroleum-based and silicone-based products. Also hairsprays, mousses and gels that have a high alcohol or butane content.

You will need to give your hair extra nurturing by supplying it with the necessary nutrition and moisture that it needs.

If you are out in the sun for a long period make sure your hair care product have sunscreen properties to protect your hair from the damaging affects of the UV rays. Once you solve tje dry and frizzy issue you can then enjoy a new haircut. Good luck

Hv short, thick, dry curly hair.... need a new hair style..?

I bought a crystal clarifying treatment to take green out of my hair, do i put the gel on my wet or

My hair turned green from chlorine in my friends pool and I bought this stuff today from Sally's that should take it out of my hair. It's called Ion Crystal Clarifying Treatment %26amp; Ion Swimmer's Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner. The problem is, with the crystal treatment the instructions are a bit confusing and I don't know whether I should put the gel on my hair when it's wet or when it's dry. There are 3 different sets of instructions and I don't know which ones to follow. My hair is highlighted and the highlights turned green and all I want to do is take that green out. So, does anyone know which directions I should follow? Please help... Thank you!

I bought a crystal clarifying treatment to take green out of my hair, do i put the gel on my wet or dry hair??

I would say use the treatment on towel dried hair. If used on dry hair, it will just not be able to distribute evenly and you might end up with a patchy result. on really wet hair, it might take away the intensity of the treatment (because it is being diluted with water)

I bought a crystal clarifying treatment to take green out of my hair, do i put the gel on my wet or dry hair??

Put it on damp hair! Then put a bag over it for a while to hold in the heat.. If it dont work . Paul Mitchell( shampoo 3)!!!! It works good! I'm a stylist trust me :)

The best way to make dry hair look normal, is?

My hair is a bit dry becaus of all this colouring and I want it to look healty again. Can somebody tell me the best way to do that?

The best way to make dry hair look normal, is?

After you wash your hair, make sure to use a conditioner for Dry/Damaged hair. Leave it in for about 3min %26amp; then rinse out about 80% of it. It helps to maintain the dryness if you leave some of the hair conditioner in.

Then lightly towel dry your hair %26amp; use some hair mousse. If your hair is really dry/frizzy, use a super hold or mega hold hair mousse.

Then lightly blow dry on "cool".

The best way to make dry hair look normal, is?

chop it all off and go dyke style

The best way to make dry hair look normal, is?

hair Gel.

The best way to make dry hair look normal, is?

add hair wax

The best way to make dry hair look normal, is?

use a rich conditioner w/ lots of moisturizer in it.

The best way to make dry hair look normal, is?

Aussie 3-minute-miracle reconstructioner conditioner

it's $2-$4 dollar (aka cheap) and it works well.

The best way to make dry hair look normal, is?

try tips on hair care and much more on this site

The best way to make dry hair look normal, is?

I have dry hair which I torture with coloring and a lot of heat styling. Still, go to your stylist and get your ends trimmed, that'll give you some healthy hair to start with without sacrificing length. Use a very moisturizing hair masque (I'm partial to Garnier Nutrisse) for dry hair once a week. Also use shampoo that is gentle and doesn't strip your hair of it's natural oils, and a very rich conditioner again, for dry hair (I'm partial to Pantene's Sleek and smooth).

Shampoo as little as possible (twice a week is recommended) but condition thoroughly every day. Also, use a leave-in conditioner to moist hair while restyling, or after the shower in general (partial to Infusium 23...a classic)

Also try some of the different glazes or gloss semi-permanent treatments, like Clairol Natural Instincts Shine treatment, I plan to use this next week so I'm not sure how well it will work.

For appearance, try a silicone based shine oil or gel...waxes and pomades can weigh hair down and eliminate the shine if you use too much. I like Citre Shine's shine spray and shine treatment, just a dollop does wonders...I also like StraightSexyHair polishing gloss. Again jut a little bit goes a long way for the finishing touch of shine to your hair

I have thick hair...how do I blow dry it right?

Every time I try to blow dry my hair (not often at all) it turns out poofy. I've tried brushing it while I dry, I point the dryer down, I use difusers, but it keeps ending up poofy. I see other girls blow dry thier hair and it comes out pin straight. Do I just ned practice? Any product suggestions? I use a frizz serum already...it works great.

I have thick hair...how do I blow dry it right?

use BIO SILK it helps people whit hair like that b-cz my causin has thick hair and sha uses that and when she uses that and one of those things that makes ure hair straight

its as straight as thin hair ust like my hair GOOD LUCK....LOL i hope ure hair gets better(straight)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have thick hair...how do I blow dry it right?

Your hair is going to come out poofy with a blow dryer you have to straighten it with a flat iron (straightener) afterwards it works Report It

I have thick hair...how do I blow dry it right?

use a roller brush, flipping it outward. what youre doing is letting the curls frizz. you need to keep them tamed while using the blowdryer, and a rollerbrush is best for that. try frizz-eaze

I have thick hair...how do I blow dry it right?

my sister in laws hair is like that so she just has to put it in a pony tail well a bun actually until it dries which takes a while cause its long but its not frizzy that way

I have thick hair...how do I blow dry it right?

Nah just keep on brushing it down. Why don't u use a straightener after. It will leave it cool trust me.

I have thick hair...how do I blow dry it right?

Same thing happens to me. After you blow dry it use a flat iron to smooth out your hair. I don't think you are doing it wrong, that's just how your hair dries.

I have thick hair...how do I blow dry it right?

Separate you hair into sections while drying it and brush it while drying, this will make sure that all of your hair is getting completely dry.

I have thick hair...how do I blow dry it right?

Actually all u need to do is straighten it with a flat iron ... i mean ur hair is gonna come out frizzy because of the heat being applied to the hair while its wet... i mean come on nah think ... wneva its rainin hair frizzes up and its hard to get it straight again when its hot ... same concept except their is more heat being applied to ur hair which is also damaging it...so dont always blow dry ur hair ... (i dont kno what ethnicity u are ) but i am african american and i kno that after we wash our hair all hell breaks lookse..there fore when i dont blow dry it i wrap it reallllllll tight ... ( like when u get a roller rap... except i dont do the roller part) .... GOOD LUCK *~*

I have thick hair...how do I blow dry it right?

you don't blow dry it. you let it air dry and then straighten it with a flat iron, don't wash it for a couple days and repeat. with this regiment your hair will look fabulous. invest in a good straightener, one made with ceramic plates. sometimes when my hair is drying I apply a little bit of cocoa butter and then when I straighten it is less oily than using a serum.

I have thick hair...how do I blow dry it right?

silk therapy by bio silk is good to help w/the tangles and it speeds up the drying time you can also use redkens satinwear mix the two your hair will be soft and no tangles, also use a flat paddle brush instead. you will probably need to flat iron it [get a ceramic one] after if you want it really straight remember not everyones hair is the same so this is probably going to be alot of work for you but take my advice these items work coming from a hairstylist of 14 years

I have thick hair...how do I blow dry it right?

I too have thick hair and I have to tell you it takes a LONG time to blow dry. Here's what finally worked for me: Number 1: IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BRUSH!!! I use Goody's Curling Brush (a big round brush with soft bristles) 2. I use two brushes, I also use a small brush to smooth and to help me with the back of my hair. 3. IF IT AINT ABOUT THE BRUSH THEN IT'S ON THE DRYER. They cost more but you need a dryer that has a hot, medium and cool setting, with low and high speeds AND MOST IMPORTANT a cool shot button. IN ADDITION lose the difuser, you need a funnel, this is the attachment that makes the dryer have a small and narrow opening. 4. USE A MINIMUM OF HAIR PRODUCTS. Thick hair doesn't need a lot of goo. Get yourself a good leave in conditioner and use it in place of gel or mouse. I use Aveda. You say the frizz serum works, maybe that will work too. 5. Ok now we get to the process...Let your hair air dry a bit, or if you are in a hurry, blow dry on HIGH on the MEDIUM temp. You want your hair still damp, but not soaking wet. 6. Clip up your hair. I blow dry in three sections I do the back and some of the sides first, then I let down a little of the top layers, and then bangs and the rest of the sides last. 7. Use the big round brush and gather up a lock of hair, curl in up in the brush. For best results use the low setting and HOT temp. Start at the roots and slowly brush the lock down. Then curl it up again and repeat on the same lock. To keep the ends from frizzing, use the cool shot button to set the curl. Do this on your full head of hair, it takes time the first time you try this it might take you over a half hour, so be patient. To shave time I use the smaller brush on the back (because it's the sides and front that are what people look at) but you don't want to curl you hair up into a small round brush, it can get tangled and stuck. 8. Once all hair is dry, go back with the small brush and touch up any trouble areas and then smooth hair with the small brush and COOL setting on your dryer. 9. A good pomeade is a thick haired girl's best friend. Or a mud mixed with a bit of Olive Oil is great too (this is my current combo). BUT USE THESE PRODUCT SPARINGLY!! Use only on the ends and flyaways. Good Luck!

What treatment is good for me in order to get an EMO HAIR? i have rough, curly, dry hair... help me!?

yeah. im a male having dry, curly, rough hair... i want to have an EMO hair? what treatment is good for me whenever i go to the salon? oh, is there a hair length needed to that? i only have my bangs reaching my eyes.

What treatment is good for me in order to get an EMO HAIR? i have rough, curly, dry hair... help me!?

you'll probably need a really good straightener. bring a picture of the hair you want to your stylist so they know what you're looking for. i'd also invest in some good straightening and styling creams to get the hair you want.

What treatment is good for me in order to get an EMO HAIR? i have rough, curly, dry hair... help me!?

there is lots of different emo styles.....i'd invest in a good straightener....at least a $60 one..

I NEVER blow dry my hair! and I have really thick hair.

Its worth it to me to get up early enough to let my hair dry before styling or wash and let dry the night before! I don't care what product I tried to use when blow drying my hair stayed frizzy and "dehydrated". Not worth it!

Before styling your hair while still damp, smooth frizz and flyaways with a shine serum using your fingertips and concentrating on your curls. A great but less-expensive product is Neutrogena Triple Moisture Healing Shine Serum.

How do I create well defined curls in my curly dry hair?

don't even bother with a curling iron. it is too exhausting and the curls don't look natural.

-if you have curly hair alreadya ll u need to do is wet your hair. apply a leave in conditioner and towel blot. Don't dry. Apply a hair moisturiser to damp hair and then you can use a curling ativator. it comes in the form of a gel. this would bring out the curly hair and hold it. you can also use mouse but it won't really bring the curls out

Try a product called Sedal. they have a moisturiser/combing lotion for curly hair IT'S AMAZING. my bf has curly hair but it tends to get frizzy his hair looks great when he uses it. It really sets the curls in and it stays w/o ever getting frizzy. Easier 2comb also

-You cna also go to a hair stylist. They have these curlers that are sponge-like. They wash your hair then put a setting lotion[to keep ur hair soft %26amp; moisturised] and they put u under the dryer. the curls last almost a wk.

I'm biracial with very curly hair. use deep conditioners and essential oils like avocado, coconut, jojoba, and olive oils. use a wide tooth comb don't not try combing or brushing the hair once it is dry. don't wash it very often( i only wash mine about every other week) if it gets sweaty just condition or run warm water through it.

Best way to care for my naturaly curly hair
for naturally curly hair? my
hair is very dry and

over the years i have colored blowdried and straightened my naturaly curl hair. over the last year i have stopped all of the obove, but my hair i blah! It is still very dry and lifeless. i dont use any product, i shampoo and condition every day and use cocunut oil often for moisture but after all the damage i have caused even though its better it is still blah. It also does not grow very well, unfortunatly even though i have not put color in it in over a year my old bad color is still half of my hair, what can i do to improve the health of my hair. i have read not to ust shampoo. any thoughts??

Best way to care for my naturaly curly hair for naturally curly hair? my hair is very dry and lifeless.?

Shampoo every other day (or every two or three days if you hair is super dry.) Daily shampooing strips your hair of necessary oils. Condition daily though. I've read that you can put a shower cap on once you put conditioner on. Leave it on while you finish your shower. The steam and heat will help it penetrate more. Deep conditioning treatments once a week would be good too. There are a lot of good ones. I like the conditioner that comes with box hair dye personally. Also use a leave in conditioner.

You also may want to consider getting your hair trimmed or cut. I had a lot of damage to my hair but I got it cut and it started getting a lot healthier.

But remember...Conditioner is the key here.

Trying to stop using heating tools on hair. What are some other ways to dry and straighten hair wiht

ok, well i heard tht using heating products like blowdryers and curling irons dry out ur hair. How can i curl the ends of my hair withoust using the iron and dry my hair waithout a blowdryer??

o, i cant airdry either cuz of my hairtype and please dont give me the answer to use a flat iron cuz THTS A HEATING TOOL TOO

Trying to stop using heating tools on hair. What are some other ways to dry and straighten hair wihtout them??

Well, you're screwed. You said you can't air dry, can't blow dry, can't flat iron. So, there's nothing else left to do.

But if I had to give any advice, I would say to let your hair air dry then use a blow dryer and a round brush to smooth out your hair, you can also add curl at the same time. It will do less damage than using a flat iron.

Trying to stop using heating tools on hair. What are some other ways to dry and straighten hair wihtout them??

I used to use my blow dryer on the COOL setting and it worked. It took awhile though, lol.

Trying to stop using heating tools on hair. What are some other ways to dry and straighten hair wihtout them??

there's a shampoo that could straighten out your hair... but just for a while.

Trying to stop using heating tools on hair. What are some other ways to dry and straighten hair wihtout them??

after you wash your hair, roll your hair with the rollers.Put mousse, moisturising lotion...... before you do it.But you're going to have to sleep with the rollers and take them off in the morning;so actually your hair would dry out over night.

Trying to stop using heating tools on hair. What are some other ways to dry and straighten hair wihtout them??

Well I'm sorry but that's about the only way to straighten hair. Maybe you could try hot oil? Other than that I have no idea, sorry.

Trying to stop using heating tools on hair. What are some other ways to dry and straighten hair wihtout them??

It called wet set. Roll up your hair while it is wet and let it dry natural. I've always done my hair like that. My curls last much longer and they have a lot of body and shine.

What products can i use for natural, dry, curly hair?

there is this stuff that has carrot oil in it go to walmart and there is a special section for this stuff.it should work really well.

What products can i use for natural, dry, curly hair?

I have extremely dry hair also and I went to Sally's and I was going to use ion like my hair dresser but they suggested silk elements instead. I have been using it for about a month now and I noticed the results almost immediately. It leaves your hair moisturized, but not weighed down. I thought that my hair wouldn't move, because it is supposed to provide moisturizer in it but my hair still moved. Not only that, but it was shiny and all together looked better. I do have a perm but it's supposed to be good for dry African American hair that is permed, natural, colored or whatever. To make it even better it's not expensive.

I put a perm in, put in a hot oil treatment, washed it and let the conditioner sit on it for like 30 minutes. I think hot oil treatments have to go on wet hair, but you have to shampoo and conditioner after wards. Hope it helps!

Curly Hair Needs Help! What products work for frizzy uncontrollable hair? Should I reg blow dry my h

My hair is naturally curly and it閳ユ獨 frizzy and very uncontrollable. I閳ユ獡 not sure what products to use in order to make it soft, shiny, non-sticky, and keep the curls in tack. Also how should I blow dry my curls? Should I use a diffuser? Any advice?

Curly Hair Needs Help! What products work for frizzy uncontrollable hair? Should I reg blow dry my hair. HELP

This may sound crazy, but it works. When you get out of the shower, don't tousle your hair with a towel. Instead, use paper towels to squeeze the water out. Rubbing your hair separates the curls and makes them frizzy. I've heard this from several different stylists, and I do it regularly. It works. Also, when you blowdry, use a diffuser and don't touch your hair with neither your fingers nor the diffuser. It has the same effect as rubbing your hair with a towel. It may take longer, but it works better in the long run than any product.

Well my sister is a hair dresser and she recommended some "Curl Conscious" creme but I am not exactly sure where to get it. However I do know that Sunsilk's de Frizz 24/7 creme works really well for me. It's in a green bottle and you can probably get it at target. I think she also said that if possible let your hair air dry but she said if you must blow dry it use a diffuser. ( I think that is the term any way.) Also try not to shampoo everyday because it strips your hair of it's natural oils and makes your hair all frizzy.

I was in your shoes once upon a time! BUT, I fortunately discovered pureology hair products (the purple bottle is to make hair straight) kind of pricey but wonderful! I also use I blow dryer with a comb on it...walmart has those. I cant even use a regular blow dryer anymore...it adds to the frizz. The comb just reinforces the hairs to straighten. gooood luck

My perm is starting to come out of my hair and my hair is super dry/dead is there anything i can use to fix it

You can go to the salon %26amp; get a hot oil treatment, or you can do it yourself with oil on your hair, a shower cap on your head and a blow drier for 10 minutes or as long as you can stand. Yes it is messy, and hot. Wash it out after your treatment. It will be much softer. then condition as usual.

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

I have about shoulder length VERY curly, dry, frizzy hair. I have tried dozens of different products on my hair, but nothing really seems to help the dryness. I have been using Pantene for the past few months but I really don't see any difference in my hair. Not washing my hair everyday isn't really an option because it is frizzy and messy when I wake up. Are there any shampoos or conditioners that have really improved your hair? I have heard good things about Garnier Fructis but is it really that great? Also, I would prefer that the products be available at any drugstore. Please help.

Thanks. :]

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

There is a product by Infusium 23 called (moistur)ologie. It has a shampoo, conditioner, and a leave-in treatment. It hydrates deeply to replenish the moisture to dry, parched hair. They also have a (repair)ologie line, which fortifies the hair cuticle to stop breakage and split ends. You could just use the (moistur)ologie, or you could mix a (repair)ologie shampoo with a (moistur)ologie conditioner.

I actually use a Pantene Pro-V shampoo for my hair along with the (moistur)ologie conditioner. Despite what everyone else says about how bad Pantene is, I love it. It gets my hair clean, and leaves it feeling soft and looking very healthy and shiny. Plus, the (moistur)ologie conditioner makes it even softer, and I've noticed way less frizz and breakage in my hair.

You can buy the Infusium 23 products at Walmart for about $5 each. Hope this helps! :]

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

i used to have the same thing frizz eaze by john frieda works great =)

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

Buy Sunsilk or Garnier shampoo and conditioner and get a straightener! :D

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

Try redken all soft it is awesome my hair had been burnt from over processing and my beautician recommended it,my hair was so dry and frizzy i used it a week and could tell it was getting softer and healthier.good luck

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

Yes, head n shoulders for smooth %26amp; silky hair. ^_^

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

Throw out all your Pantene products. It's horrible for your hair! It strips your hair of any natural nutriance, and coats your hair with a waxy film which will dull, dry out, and damage your hair. Any professional hair stylist will confirm this.

Garnier Fructis is pretty good, but I prefer Dove shampoo and conditioner. Aussie's 3 Minute Mircle is great also.

I use Dove Shampoo and Conditioner, and twice a week I'll substitute the conditioner with Aussie's 3 Minute Mircle. Ever since I've started this ritual my hair has been a lot less fizzy, softer, and more managable.

Use V0S hot oil treatment once a week, before you shampoo your hair. It works really well.

I also heard that it's worth investing in salon quality products like Redkin.

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

i would try a hot oil treatment once a week for starters, and make sure you condition every day, maybe the new pantene products, i think they are called texturize? my hair which is frizzy does well.

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

Matrix sleek look.. Please try this.. You will see a signifigant improvment if not within one was then two.. My hair stylist recomended it and I also get a conditioning treatment every two weeks that puts the protein back in your hair.. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

I tried Garnier 3 minute masque (it comes in a little pot-looking container, green with an orange lid) and it worked wonders for my hair!! You just use it about once a week and leave it in for 3 minutes (hence the name). The rest of the week I use Garnier length and strength shampoo and conditioner. Hope this helps, I know how annoying frizzy hair is!!

Something else that also works well is John Freida hair serum. You just put a dime-sized amount in your hands, and rub it evenly through dry hair. It takes the frizz out. You can get it at any drugstore or WalMart sells it too. It's kind of expensive for such a small amount of product, but the bottle actually lasts a long time, even if you use it every day.

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

Hi I have the best thing ever for you to try you can get it by this company or get it cheaper at ebay I tried thia on my hair and it was like a miracle the frizziness went away and my hair looked beautiful is a two part system first you shampoo and then treatment but at the end you will love the results is worth every penny go to the address beloww and you can read about it let me know if u try it out Good Luck!

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

Stop using Pantene! It is actually proven to make your hair drier, even if it claims to be moisturizing.

I would definitely recommend Dove Sheer Moisture. I am actually in the same situation as you because I did used to use Pantene! But after receiving a free sample of this I tried it and it works like magic and I am not kidding! Anyway it is a great cure for both dry hair and frizzy hair. My hair is always messy when I wake up but from the same line of product, I use Dove Replenishing Mist it is the best and it can be applied to dry hair too.

And please please please nominate this for best answer, I really want it! ~閳绢殑

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

Try a leave-on conditioner or when you comb out your hair after shampooing, use a quarter size dollop of conditioner and comb through, then leave it in. Try using a silk pillowcase when you sleep, it makes a BIG difference in what your hair looks like when you get up. Try using a wide tooth comb instead of a brush. Any brand of conditioner will do just about the same job. Also try to deep condition at least once a week, I usually leave mine in for 30 minutes before rinsing. Hope this is helpful.

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

I have pretty frizzy hair and I use Garnie Fructi Shampoo and Conditioner. Then when I get out of the shower I use the leave-in-conditioner. I sometimes use the John Frieda mousse and it works pretty good too. Good Luck!!!!!

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

There are a lot of silicones out there that promise to treat frizziness (Biosilk, John Frieda), but look at their ingredients. They all contain stuff like alcohol or water that get in the way of the silicone. Try a pure silicone like Simply Stylin. It has no fillers so it's effects are intensified. I like the Silk serum version. Their website gives out free samples. www.simplystylinhair.com.

Anyone used shampoo/conditioner that has been EXCELLENT for dry/frizzy hair?

Simply Stylin is a really good product, I agree. Tames frizz and adds a shine that lasts all day. Plus I love the scent!
