no, i use it and my hair is really shiny. I think it depends on the type of hair you have. my hair is really thin.

iv only used the conditioner not the shampoo it didn't make my hair dry but it did make my hair greasy if i didn't rinse it extra extra good and i noticed my color seemed to fade faster when i used it.
