My friend has really dry yet wavy hair and it only looks good when water is applied to it. Normal products like Frizzease dont really work on it. So what are some hair products that would really work on this kind of hair?
What are some good hair products for dry wavy hair?
frizzease is a cheap product that contains a lot of alcohol, like other store bought products, and will dry out her hair more in the long run. she needs to use a shine serum, like paul mitchell super skinny, or kenra silkening gloss. biolage curl cream is great to moisturize her curls if she wants to wear it wavy. neither of those products are legit in the stores, only at salons. if she wants to straighten it, the serum is still great, it smooths, adds shine and moisturizes, and she could try any kind of smoothing balm, or just a product with hold, like mousse, so the straightened style will last. layering products is a great idea, you can never use too many! also a smoothing or moisturizing shampoo and conditioner is going to help as well. again, biolage has a great moisture and smoothing line and a decent price for a being a professional product. even though you will see them in stores, they are not the real thing. beware. hope this helps!

Pink Lustre, but very, very little. Work from the ends first then to the rest of your hair. (found in the section for African American). I mostly use it before going to bed as a hair moisturizer. For during the day I use a couple of different products alternating days, not all together, by Aussie the spray leave in conditioner, mousse, or hair gel work great.
