I hate my dry hair.. grrr?

i used to have quite smooth and silky hair until recently.. for some reason my hair has now become very dry with many strands that are stiff and wiry and also plenty of split ends.. what can i do to return the smooth and silkyness?? any thing i can do that doesnt require going to the hairdresser?

Treat your hair to an anti frizz treatment use a shampoo and conditioner for very dry hair and use a leave in conditioning spray aswell

The only way to get rid of split ends is to cut them. For the dry hair, use a deep moisturizing conditioner and stay away from shampoos and conditioners that have vitamins and minerals, they could be why your hair has changed. You need something that says moisture or hydrating. Another reason could be because of the products you use, they can create a build up on your hair. Definitely change products.

Try Ojon hair treatment. it is available on QVC and at Sephoria. It really works for me. I also use their shampoo and styling products.

Have u dyed ur hair? That can take out some of ur natural hair and make it dry. use detangling spray, and conditoiners, I use herbal essences shampoo. i got the dangerously straight formula. it worked real well. it makes ur hair look less frizzy and curly. ppl ask me a lot,"Katie, did u straight-n ur hair?" No, i put some poo in!"

I use Burt's Bees More Moisture Shampoo. It is a bit expensive. If you have straight hair, don't even bother with conditioner. Just leave the shampoo in your hair for a few minutes then rinse it out.

Also, I like rinse my hair in cold water before getting out of the shower. It helps make your hair shinier.

Afterwards, apply a serum such as CHI Silk Theraphy. You can get this at Walgreens, as well as the shampoo I mentioned earlier.

Apply the serum before blow drying. Don't use too much near the roots; otherwise it will look greasy.

As for your split ends, you have to get them snipped off.

I have the same problem too.Try not to brush or comb your hair so much. That breaks of the hair and you definitely don't want that. But all you have to do is use lots of conditioner. Put a cap on your head for like 1 to 2 hrs. It really works for me. It will make your hair shiney and silky. Also use the Olive Oil Root Stimulator perm. This perm is amazing. Trust me. You'll thank me one day!!!

Try Queen Helens cholesterol for the hair. It works SO good.

1. wash your hair

2.condition it with Queen Helens

3.leave in for about a half hour

4.rinse well

I have used this many times in the summer when my hair gets dry and frizzy. Best thing is...it's really cheap, and you can buy it at Eckerds or CVS! Good luck..
