I just got my hair cut shoulder length. If I blow dry it, will I look like a pumpkin head with that poofy, round hair we all hate? How can I use a brush to make it stay flat?

Hold the blow dryer higher than your head and face it down while blow drying. Use a brush and brush it down while you are drying it. Use some anti frizz stuff if you are worried about frizz. Enjoy your new do!
