did any one find that being pregnant makes your hair dry? if so how did you fix this problem? is types of oils/shampoos ect i should use? thanks

Are you taking prenatal vitamins? My hair was never dry; however, hormones will do funny things. Try a good quality leave-in conditioner. Moist Ends from Redken works great...really great....but it is about $24.00 for a bottle, but you only need to use a pea-size amount each day. My hair has never looked better. You can also go to a quality salon (not your everyday supercuts), and ask their opinion.

I had this problem too, and my hair kept falling out!!! When I finally hit about 20 weeks, my hair did a complete 180, and has never been this beautiful before!!! I just waited it out, and used a deep conditioner once a week!!!

Pregnancy usually makes your hair very healthy and thick. Ive never heard of it making it dry. But in your case it is making your hair dry. What i do when i feel my hair needs a refresher is take a tub of hair cholesterol that you can buy at any bueaty dept and lather your hair in it. Start with dry hair, and make sure you cover all of your hair.. wind it on top of your head, let sit for 10-15 mins .. get in the shower and rinse. Then shampoo good. It will make your hair very greasy if you dont shampoo good after. And then follow with conditioner if youd like. Goodluck

I've noticed dry hair more when i use Pantene Pro-V or the shampoo's with wax in them. If you want your hair to have that "glow" just get a conditioner to use after shampooing. You don't want to wash your hair more than once a day because you'll be washing out your natural oils. Keep it to one shampoo and one conditioner. What i've used was DOVE shampoo and conditioner and it really works for my hair...

My wife used horse shampoo with conditioner and horse conditioner itself from the local tack store. (Feed and Supply Store). In bulk it is cheaper than salon products. Also she would brush her hair with only the conditioner between showers.

You could try some olive oil shampoo. It is very popular. I have oily hair, and had to stop using it, because it made my hair too oily. since yours is dry it might be perfect. I just picked mine up at a salon in the mall.

drink hella water!!!! you should be doing that anyway but that is what is gonna keep your hair and body hydrated. once you begin that regimin then try using kera-kare hydrating shampoo and humecto condition. it is a profession product and depending where you live you may need a license to buy it but it work wonders.
