I would suggest you first go for a trim,to get rid of the split ends,there is no product on this earth that will repair split ends,apart from a pair of scissors,again maybe you shouldnt staighten your hair so often,just brush it.Treat your hair everyweek,this will help strengthen it and prevent breakage,I would recommend Redken butter treatment,it has done wonders for my hair,it will also restore lost moisture

DON'T USE PANTENE PRODUCTS! Seriously, my beautician told me that woman were loosing their hair when they used it. She was right! I have long straight hair myself and use an end sealer made by Schwarzkopf products called Bonacure Repair. Only in salons, not over the counter. Wonder stuff! You can also find this product on Ebay.

heat will dry your hair out cause split ends. there are some heat activated conditioners out there to use. Go to your local Wal-Mart and find some. I would suggets giving your hair a break from the straightening tool. Chemicals are no better. You can seriously damage your hair by using heat and chemical products in your hair. Give your hair a break, get a trim and wait till it grows out.

use olive oil once a week. Massage it into your hair, leave it in for a while and then wash your hair like always.

After a while your hair wil feel softer, and you can stop doing this.

Afterwards use a really small glas of vinegar diluted into atleast 2 liters of water, and use this as your last rinse after washing your hair like you do always.

lovesux is correct. the reason it makes your hair fall out is because it suffocates the hair shaft due to buildup on it. it gets so heavy that it falls out from the root. the build up is also on the scalp suffocating the papilla so that hair will not grow back.

don't shampoo every day; use something like silicone drops on your hair before straightening; use antihumectant if it gets frizzy in humidity (or while sleeping).and trim those split ends off or they will split even further up and cause other hairs to get split.
